KUWAIT, Jan 8 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah expressed condolences to Iranian President Dr. Hassan Rouhani Sunday, on passing away of chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
His Highness the Amir, in a cable to Rouhani, prayed to Allah the Almighty to bestow blessing upon the deceased.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable to Rouhani to extend his condolences over the death of Rafsanjani.
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a similar cable. (end) bs
