KUWAIT, Dec 8 (KUNA) -- Viva telecommunication company is offering free of charge contacts with Saudi Arabia on Friday on the occasion of the visit by the Monarch, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, to the State of Kuwait.
VIVA CEO Salman Al-Badran said in a statement the historic visit by the Saudi Monarch depicts the deeply-rooted bonds between the two brotherly countries, adding that the company has taken the decision to offer the free service with aim of being "a partner in this eminent Gulf event and for sake of facilitating closer interaction between families and friends in the two countries." The Saudi Telecom Company owns 51.8 percent of VIVA's stakes and Kuwait Public Investment Authority has six percent. (end) fnk.rk
