MANAMA, April 16 (KUNA) -- Dean of the diplomatic corps, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah praised on Saturday the Bahraini initiative to send a Gulf domestic delegation by a royal patronage to Rome to show tolerance that characterizes the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
During his meeting with member of the Consultative Council Samir Al-Baharna, also supervisor of the "This is the Arabian Gulf" forum that this pioneering move is not strange to Bahrain and to its co-existence.
For his part, Al-Baharna said that the Forum's events would highlight the true and bright image of the Gulf States, noting that the delegation will meet with Pope Francis during the prospective visit next May.
