BEIRUT, Jan 7 (KUNA) -- Lebanese lawmakers failed, for the 34th time, to elect a president in today's parliament session, Official media sources announced on Thursday.
The session was postponed to February 8th, due to lack of lack of quorum, as only 36 MPs were present.
At least 86 MPs of the 128 must be present in line with the country's constitution.
Lebanon has been without a president since May 25th, 2014, when the six-year term of former president Michel Suleiman ended. (end) mah.nfm
