RIYADH, Dec 30 (KUNA) -- A Bahraini fighter jet, operating within the Saudi-led operations to support the legitimate government in Yemen, went down due to a technical malfunction, said a statement here Wednesday.
A statement by the central command of the coalition said that an F-16 fighter went down in Yemen with the pilot surviving the crash.
The Saudi-led coalition is aiming at reinstating the Yemeni government led by President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi as well as defeating the reneged militant force of Al-Houthis and its main supporter -- former President Ali Abdullah Saleh. (end) yms.gta
