AMMAN, April 8 (KUNA) -- Jordanian King Abdullah II met Iraq's visiting Defense Minister Khaled Al Obeidi here on Wednesday, discussing the latest regional developments.
During the meeting, they also considered the Iraqi government's endeavors to combat terrorist organizations, as well as means to forge closer cooperation between the two countries, especially at the military level, Jordan's official news agency, Petra, said, quoting a royal statement.
Meanwhile, Jordan is set to host a ministerial meeting for the anti-ISIL international coalition, focusing on international efforts against terrorist groups, and reviewing the work of five committees set up at an anti-ISIL gathering in London in January. (end) ab.mt
