KUWAIT, April 1 (KUNA) -- Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah met late Tuesday separately with chief delegates of Canada, China, Iran and Romania to the Third International Humanitarian Pledging Conference for Syria.
During his meeting with Canadian Assistant Deputy Minister Diane Jacovella, Al-Jarallah reviewed the bilateral ties, and regional and international issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Chief of staff of Undersecretary's Office Ambassador Ayham Abdullatif Al-Omar and Canadian Ambassador to Kuwait Martine Moreau.
Al-Jarallah also held talks with China's Special Envoy to the Middle East Ambassador Gong Xiaosheng on the bilateral, regional and international issues.
The meeting gathered Ambassador Al-Omar, Deputy Director of the Foreign Ministry's Asia Affairs Dept. Musa'ed Al-Thuwaikh and China Ambassador to Kuwait Cui Jianchun.
Al-Jarallah met Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs and Hussein Amir Abdullahyan to discuss the bilateral and regional issues.
The meeting gathered other members of the Iranian delegation to Kuwait III as well as Ambassador Al-Omar and Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait Ali Reza Enayati.
During his meeting with Romanian State Secretary for Global Affairs Carmen Liliana Burlacu, Al-Jarallah discussed the bilateral ties, and regional and international issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Al-Omar and Romania Ambassador to Kuwait Vasile Sofineti as well as other members of the Romanian delegation to the conference. (end) gb
