BAGHDAD, Dec 20 (KUNA) -- At least 12 Iraqis were killed and 31 others were wounded in roadside bombs that ripped through Tuz-Khurmato, a Turkmen city in north Iraq, security sources said Friday.
"At least eight civilians were killed and 24 others were injured when two roadside bombs went off simultaneously in Tuz-khurmato," Iraqi police reported. The police cordoned off the scene of the attacks while transferring the casualties to the nearest hospital to received medical treatment.
Two hours after the attacks, another blast exploded in the same neighborhood near a cemetery. It resulted in the killing of four civilians and the injury of five others. (end) mhg.nfm KUNA 201936 Dec 13NNNN
