BAGHDAD, Sept 12 (KUNA) -- Five people were killed and 14 others injured in two different explosions in Iraq, police sources said on Thursday.
The first explosion took place inside a house in Albu Faraj region north of Ramadi city, Anbar province that killed three and injured three others including women and children, according to a police source.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the explosion may have occurred as a result of explosive device manufacturing at home, the source added.
The second blast targeted a military training center in northern Iraq's Kirkuk province, and killed two and wounded 12 others.
Kirkuk police told KUNA that a booby-tapped car explosion targeted a number of soldiers in the centre of the city of Kiwan, northwest of Kirkuk. (end) ahh.sbr.ss KUNA 121358 Sep 13NNNN
