SANAA, Aug 1 (KUNA) -- Some four people suspected of belonging to Al-Qaeda were killed in a US drone raid in eastern Yemen on Thursday, according to eyewitness accounts.
The raid occurred in the region of Wadi Ser in the province of Hadramawt and had targeted the four suspects' car, it was claimed.
The car was said to be completely destroyed and the bodies of the four people completely burned.
If confirmed, the air drone strike would be the third in less than a week, amid Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi's visit to the US.
The attack follows another on Wednesday morning in which at least three people were killed, including a Saudi national, south of the country. (end) az.sd KUNA 011312 Aug 13NNNN
