   WASHINGTON, July 11 (KUNA) -- U.S. President Barack Obama will welcome 
Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras next month to discuss mutual interests 
and the country's economic reforms, the White House confirmed Thursday.
   During their visit on August 8, the leaders will highlight a broad array of 
issues, including U.S.-Greek bilateral trade, joint security and 
counterterrorism cooperation and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) 
Alliance.
   Their conversation will also include the prospects for a settlement between 
Greece and Turkey on Cyprus, developments in North Africa and Syria.
   Obama is expected to underscore U.S. support for Greece's economic reforms, 
according to a White House statement. (end)
