KUWAIT, June 11 (KUNA) -- Alghanim Industries officially announced the start of its partnership with Honda Motor Co. on Tuesday as the Japanese carmaker's sole agent in Kuwait.
"This partnership is based on values that our companies share. Both are ambitious corporations that stress the importance of customer-centricity, as well as diversity, teamwork, meritocracy and respect in the workplace characterized by a professional and empowering environment that considers its employees as its core asset," Alghanim Industries CEO, Omar Alghanim was quoted in a company statement.
"This partnership with Honda has given Alghanim Motors the right to distribute Honda's products including its automobile range, power products, marine products and motorcycles. We both look forward to serving our customers' needs in Kuwait to the highest standards," he added.
For his part, Managing Officer of Honda Motor Company and Chief Operating Officer for Honda's Regional Operations in Europe, CIS, the Middle and Near East and Africa, Manabu Nishimae said that the company, since its establishment in 1948, has grown to become one of the largest providers of automobiles and motorcycles.
In 2012, he said, Honda achieved sales of 15.5 motorcycle units, four million vehicles and 6.1 units of energy providers.
The agreement with Honda gives Alghanim Motors full rights in Kuwait for the distribution and servicing of Honda's range of coupes, sedans, SUVs, CUVs, and minivans.
Alghanim Industries will also provide and manage Honda facilities in Kuwait, including dedicated service centers, Honda qualified service engineers and new specialist sales outlets. (end) asj.sd KUNA 111926 Jun 13NNNN
