KUWAIT, June 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwait University Researcher Dr. Bader Al-Enezi
obtained patent certificates for two inventions from the United States over
devices and techniques on the treatment of contaminated water.
Al-Eenzi said, in a statement Monday, that the two inventions utilized two
ventilation systems to increase the proportion of dissolved oxygen in water.
The first patent is about an invention consisting mobilized water
ventilation system using renewable energy as a standalone unit, Al-Enezi said.
The second invention is an integrated ventilation system which uses a water
pump for ventilation, maintenance the quality of the air, and to remove any
harmful gases coming from the atmosphere, Al-Enezi said.
He added that he dedicated his success and scientific achievements to His
Highness the Amir, Kuwaiti people, and efforts exerted by National Assembly
Speaker Ali Al-Rashed, including efforts by Kuwait Science Club (KSC), Sabah
Al-Ahmad Center for Kuwaiti inventors, Creative, and Gifted for their interest
and care for inventors.
The researcher said contamination that affects the quality of sea water
comes from the non-treated sewage water that is poured in sea water.
Al-Enezi noted that such highlighted risks posed by this phenomenon is the
lack of concentration of dissolved oxygen in water which poses a threat to
aquatic organisms and sometimes death of fish, adding that this is the reason
behind his research, which is finding the best way to deal with such problems.
