KUWAIT, May 28 (KUNA) -- Qadsia SC won His Highness the Amir Football Cup in a repeat after smashing Al-Jahra SC with three clean goals, clinching the title for the 15th time in its history, equalling rival Al-Arabi.
Qadsia's striker Bader Al-Mutawwa scored two of his team's goals, the first in the 14 and third in 87 minute. Syrian international Omar Soma's header converted an assist from Al-Mutawwa to score the second goal.
Qadsia controlled the tempo of the game and was in possession of the ball almost the whole match.
Underdogs Al-Jahra were playing without harmony and there was a kind of misconnection between the midfield and strikers.
Qadsia ended the season with three titles: Kuwait Football Association's (KFA) Cup, Amir's Cup and His Highness the Crown Prince's Cup. (end) bsu.bs KUNA 290001 May 13NNNN
