BAGHDAD, April 1 (KUNA) -- Unknown men used knives to attack four offices of local newspapers in various parts of the capital, police said on Monday.
A police source told KUNA that the armed men targeted (Al-Parlaman or parliament in English), Al-Dustoor (constitution), Al-Naas (people), and Al-Mustaqbal (future) newspapers in different parts of Baghdad.
The source added the attackers used knives, swords, and sticks in their attack, injuring four employees, and damaging properties inside the publications.
The source noted that the reason behind the attack could be due to the publication of a story on one of the Iraqi clergy men. (end) ahh.mb KUNA 012251 Apr 13NNNN
