(with photos) MARRAKECH, March 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Qadsia handball team made its second win on Thursday in Prince Faisal bin Fahad Arab Champions Cup against Oman's Ahli Sdab 32-26.
The tournament is being held between March 19-29 in Marrakech, Morocco.
In the first halftime Qadsia team dominated the court, leading 16-13, in the second half the Kuwaiti team could have increased the gap but several players were too tense and wasted many shots on the goal.
Regardless, Qadsia was able to win the match despite losing the goalkeeper Yosif Al-Fadhli, minutes before full time, when he objected to the referee orders.
In the previous match, Qadsia was defeated by Libyan Tripoli Al-Ahli team 20-21.
Qadsia is in the first group, which includes Tunisian Esperance S. Tunis team, Omani Ahli Sdab, Libyan Tripoli Al-Ahli team, and Iraqi team Nafut Al-Janoub. (end) adt.mb KUNA 212158 Mar 13NNNN
