ISTANBUL, Nov 6 (KUNA) -- Turkish authorities said on Tuesday that the country currently gives shelter to 112,000 Syrian refugees.
The Turkish cabinet's emergency agency said in a release that the refugees are stationed at various camps spreading out throughout the southern and eastern part of the county.
The statement added the number of refugees in Turkey has increased to 112, 000, noting that food and shelter are being provided to all refugees, in addition to social services and security.
Meanwhile, seven Syrian high-ranking military officers have also fled to Turkey, and authorities have taken them to Abaydin camp designated for military officers, amid high security measures. (end) ta.mb KUNA 062120 Nov 12NNNN
