BAGHDAD, Oct 28 (KUNA) -- An improvised bomb vehicle exploded in Kazmia
city, north of the capital, killing 15 Iraqis and injuring more than 30
others, an Iraqi security source said on Sunday.
The source told KUNA the vehicle was parked at Al-Orouba square and
targeted Iraqi Shia visitors.
The source said that police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and
transferred all casualties to Kazmia and Karkh Hospital.
The Iraqi capital witnessed also two other vehicle bomb attacks, but did
not cause human casualties, only material damage.
The attacks come amid heavy Iraqi security measures in and around the
capital on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha holiday. (end)
