BAGHDAD, July 22 (KUNA) -- Twelve people were killed and dozens were injured in various bombing incidents near Baghdad and Al-Ramadi city, Iraqi police said on Sunday.
An Iraqi police source told KUNA that three improvised vehicles exploded in Al-Mahmoudya town, south of Baghdad, killing 11 people and injuring 40 others.
A police officer was killed in another explosion in Al-Ramadi city, while five police officers were injured, the police officer added.
Earlier, an improvised bomb vehicle was detonated in central of Al-Najaf city, causing 23 people various levels of injuries. (end) ahh.mb KUNA 222248 Jul 12NNNN
