ISLAMABAD, July 19 (KUNA) - An earthquake of moderate intensity Thursday afternoon jolted several parts of Pakistan, creating panic but no human or property loss was reported.
The intensity of the quake was recorded as 5.7 on the Richter Scale and its epicenter was said to be along the Pak-Afghan border. The tremors were felt in Islamabad, parts of Kashmir, tribal belt, and also in the bordering areas of Afghanistan.
The quake was the second in less than two weeks. Earlier, a 6.1 quake jolted a large swathe of eastern and northern Pakistan. (end) amn.ajs KUNA 191436 Jul 12NNNN
