KUWAIT, July 5 (KUNA) -- Dar Al-Quran, an affiliate to the Kuwait Women's Voluntary Society for Community Service (KWVSCS), held Thursday a ceremony for honoring its graduates for the academic year of 2011-2012.
The graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of and also attended by KWVSCS Chairwoman Sheikha Latifa Al-Fahad Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
Addressing the ceremony, Dar Al-Quran Chairwoman Tayab Al-Hayed expressed gratitude for Sheikha Latifa's attendance and sponsorship of the ceremony.
She also lauded Sheikha Latifa's support to Dar Al-Quran and all Quran teaching institutions.
The ceremony includes several religious and cultural activities. Sheikha Latifa distributed certificates on graduates before leaving.
Dar Al-Quran is an educational institution that cares in helping learners to memorize, recite and learn the rules of reading the Holy Quran. It provides learners with Islamic sciences such as jurisprudence, prophetic tradition, Quran meanings, Islamic creed and the biography of the prophet and etc.
