VIENNA, May 18 (KUNA) -- Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency have agreed a joint draft work plan on the Iranian nuclear issue that could allow easier access for international investigators to Iranian nuclear sites.
The proposal, if agreed in full, will be presented during negotiations between P5+1 officials and their Iranian counterparts in Baghdad on Wednesday, diplomatic sources told reporters on Friday.
On Monday, finishing touches will be added to the draft agreement in an IAEA meeting with the Iranians, which could do much to lessen international uncertainties over Iran's nuclear ambitions.
Iran, who has been subject to a four-year-long IAEA investigation, continually rejects IAEA accusations it seeks to possess nuclear weapons. (end) amg.sd KUNA 182114 May 12NNNN
