KUWAIT, April 1 (KUNA) -- The death toll of attacks by Syrian regular forces on civilians on Sunday rose to 70, including five children and three women who were killed in Deir Az-Zour, Homs, Hama, Idleb, Daraa, Aleppo, and countryside of Damascus.
Local Coordination Committees said that the city of Alkorah in Deir Az-Zour has witnessed heavy displacements due to continuous "massacres and shelling" by regime's forces for three days in row, noting that military reinforcements were still active in the city causing a state of frenzy among local residents in fear of other massacres.
In Hama, security forces raided Hai Kazo using heavy and random fire resulting in the injury of five individuals, followed by arrest campaigns to 15 others, added committees.
It noted that a number of towns are still under heavy shelling and random firing to suppress demonstrations that come out in most cities to demand freedom and the downfall of the regime.
On the other hand, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Sunday said in a press conference, following the "Friends of Syria" conference, that the international community will not allow Syrian president to miss another opportunity, stressing that the current efforts to end the conflict in Syria were the final chance for the Syrian regime.
