KHARTOUM, March 3 (KUNA) -- Sudanese Vice-President Al-Haj Adam inaugurated
Saturday a new Kuwait hospital funded by Kuwait's Popular Committee for
Fundraising and set up by the Kuwaiti Patients Helping Fund.
The opening ceremony was attended by Kuwaiti Ambassador to Khartoum, Dr.
Sulaiman Al-Harbi, a number of the popular committee and Patients Helping Fund
officials and several Sudanese ministers and senior officials.
Addressing the participants, Sudanese Vice-President expressed his
government and people's gratitude for the Kuwaiti leadership and people for
their generous support to Sudan.
He added that the projects show solidarity and cooperation between the two
nations.
For his part, Popular Committee member Tarek Badr Al-Mutawa expressed
appreciation to all government agencies and officials who facilitated the
construction of this highly-equipped hospital.
The hospital includes fully-equipped five operating rooms, 45 beds,
emergency and intensive care sections and clinics for different specialties.
