IRBIL, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- Four Iraqi army soldiers were killed in a bomb blast
that targeted their patrol in Mosul, northern Iraq, Iraqi police said on
Monday.
A source in Iraqi police told KUNA that a roadside bomb exploded when an
Iraqi military patrol ran into it in the town of Hadbaa, northern Mosul,
causing the death of four soldiers of the patrol.
On the other hand, an Iraqi police force raided and searched the town of
Al-Wehda, leading to the arrest of Falah Hamoudi Marzouq, the so-called
"minister of finance of the Islamic state of Iraq," the source added, pointing
out that the detainee had a previous post of "military amir" for Haditha town
in Anbar district, and Biji town in Salah Al-Din district. (end)
