KUWAIT, Dec 27 (KUNA) -- Al-Arabi football team won on Tuesday the final match of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Cup, against archrival Qadsia in penalty shoot-out held at Al-Kuwait Football Stadium.
The match, which ended original time in negative draw, was less than average in terms of performance from both major clubs, but in the shoot-out Al-Arabi goalkeeper was able to bloc two critical shots made by Qadsia prominent players, Bader Al-Mutuwa and Talal Al-Amer.
Regardless of a number of misses by Al-Arabi team to score, the two teams lacked the winning spirit, especially during playing final matches.
