(With photos) RAS JDIR, Tunisia, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- The Libyan people thanked Kuwait for its recent dispatchment of a convoy carrying aid worth one million US dollars to their country.
The aid was dispatched to Tripoli and several other Libyan cities seriously affected by the ongoing violence in the north African country.
The new aid convoy, supervised by Kuwait's Zakat House, consists of five trucks carrying 35,000 food packages and varied school supplies.
Several Libyan relief organizations operating under the flagship of the Transitional National Council (TNC) expressed their high appreciation of the Kuwaiti government and its people for their generosity towards the country.
