KUWAIT, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Information said here Tuesday the freedom of opinion was ensured to everyone as per Kuwaiti constitution and laws regulating mass media.
The ministry stressed in a news release "its strong belief in media freedom and the constructive, effective and vital role played by all national mass media".
It emphasized that "the relationship between the ministry and media foundations is so close that they are regulated by laws that govern the Kuwaiti society which enjoys, and is characterized by, democracy and responsible opinion freedom". (end) rda.mt KUNA 202228 Sep 11NNNN
