BAGHDAD, June 12 (KUNA) -- Two bombings killed three people and injured 14 others in here on Sunday while two persons were gunned down in Al-Hillah city, central Iraq.
The two bombs were planted near a football court in Al-Jihad neighborhood, south Baghdad and went off almost simultaneously, a senior police officer told KUNA.
Unknown gunmen opened fire at a member of a local awakening council and his wife to the north of Al-Hillah, the largest city of Babylon Governorate, killing them on the spot, the source added. (end) ahh.gb KUNA 122324 Jun 11NNNN
