BAGHDAD, May 6 (KUNA) -- An Iraqi policeman was killed and six others were wounded in attacks in the capital, Baghdad, on Friday, a security source said.
He said an explosion targetting a Shiite mourning house in East Baghdad injured five civilians.
The police cordoned off the scene and evacuated the mourning house after another explosive device was discovered in the place. The bomb squad defused the bomb, added the source.
Meanwhile, unknown gunmen shot dead a police commissioner in central Baghdad while other armed men shot and injured one of advisors of President Jalal Talabani in the capital city. (end) mhg.bs KUNA 062116 May 11NNNN
