IRBIL, March 11 (KUNA) -- At least 24 Iraqi civilians were wounded on
Friday in a booby-trapped car explosion in Kirkuk, northern Iraq.
Director of police districts in Kirkuk, Brigadier Sarhad Abdul Qadir told
Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that a booby-trapped car exploded this evening in
the mainly Kurdish inhabited area of Rahim Awa north of Kirkuk, wounding 24
people in addition to damaging the shops adjacent to the blast area.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack. (end)
