CAIRO, Jan 3 (KUNA) -- Egypt's Health Ministry has reported on Monday the first bird flu death case in 2011, bringing the total number of fatalities up to 40 since the disease broke out in the country in 2006.
A 40-year-old man died of bird flu in al-Duqhalia Governorate northern the capital Cairo earlier today, Spokesman for the Ministry Abdulrahman Shahin said in news remarks.
