CAIRO, Dec 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs
and Minister of Justice Rashid Al-Hammad arrived here Sunday to attend the
26th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice and a joint meeting
of Arab justice and interior ministers.
Al-Hammad, who also doubles as Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, was
received at the airport by Kuwaiti Ambassador in Cairo Rasheed Al-Hammad and
Kuwait's representative at the Arab League Jamal Al-Ghuneim.
During their 26th meeting due here on Monday, the Arab ministers of justice
are expected to discuss a host of key issues, mainly the fight against
terrorism and ongoing efforts to carry out a relevant agreement among Arab
countries.
They will also mull a Yemeni suggestion to work out an Arab agreement for
regulating human organ transplant.
The joint meeting of Arab interior and justice ministers will kick-start on
Tuesday to discuss how to put an Arab anti-terror agreement in place.
Several other agreements bearing on the fight against money laundering,
organized crime, corruption and information technology crimes are also to be
