CAIRO, Dec 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs and Minister of Justice Rashid Al-Hammad arrived here Sunday to attend the 26th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice and a joint meeting of Arab justice and interior ministers.
Al-Hammad, who also doubles as Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, was received at the airport by Kuwaiti Ambassador in Cairo Rasheed Al-Hammad and Kuwait's representative at the Arab League Jamal Al-Ghuneim.
During their 26th meeting due here on Monday, the Arab ministers of justice are expected to discuss a host of key issues, mainly the fight against terrorism and ongoing efforts to carry out a relevant agreement among Arab countries.
They will also mull a Yemeni suggestion to work out an Arab agreement for regulating human organ transplant.
The joint meeting of Arab interior and justice ministers will kick-start on Tuesday to discuss how to put an Arab anti-terror agreement in place.
Several other agreements bearing on the fight against money laundering, organized crime, corruption and information technology crimes are also to be considered. (end) KUNA 191855 Dec 10NNNN
