RAMALLAH, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- Preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Yusuf Salama has denounced the Israeli government's approval of a decision for carrying out construction work at Buraq Square, the western wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Salama said in a press statement that the aim behind such step was to Judaize the Buraq square and change its features to make a comprehensive change in the Al-Aqsa mosque, especially the Buraq square through the implementation of new construction in the yard to accommodate a large number of Jews.
The Israeli construction process will include a multi-storey development above and below ground. (end).
