(With photos) KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Indonesia Nasser Al-Enezi provided his credentials as Kuwait's non-resident Plenipotentiary ambassador to the East Limor.
The ambassador presented his credentials to President of the Democratic Republic of East Timor, Dr Jose Ramos-Horta, at the presidential palace in East Timor capital, Dili, according to a statement issued by Kuwait embassy in Jakarta.
He also conveyed good wishes and hopes for prosperity to East Timorese President from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister.
East Timorese President, during the meeting, reviewed the historic visit of HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to East Timor, which strengthened and resulted in elating the Kuwait-Timorese relations through signing several agreements.
He called on Kuwaiti officials and non-officials to visit his country to push these relations towards further progress in all fields, underlining the keenness of East Timor to develop these ties in all fields, particularly economic and investment sectors.
The two sides discussed issues of common interest between the two countries, adding that developing relations occurs through visits by official delegations from both sides. The latest visit was by Kuwait's Prime Minister to East Timor, which contributed in strengthening these relations.
Moreover, the diplomat stressed on keenness of the political leadership in Kuwait to develop and expand the mutual cooperation.
