GAZA, Nov 2 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Islamic Jihad's military wing "Saraya Al-Quds" announced their responsibility for shooting two Israeli soldiers and firing several mortar shells at a military base east of Gaza.
According to a statement released here on Tuesday the snipers unit of "Saraya Al-Quds" were able to shoot two Israelis directly during their guard duty for a number of Israeli workers who were carrying out drilling operations east of Gaza.
They also fired mortar shells towards a military base, the statement added.
This attack comes as a "confirmation of the right of resistance in response to any aggression against our people and to proceed with the option of resistance and jihad until the liberation of all our lands," Saraya Al-Quds said.(end) mt.mao KUNA 021857 Nov 10NNNN
