ISLAMABAD, Oct 30 (KUNA) -- At least one person was killed and more than
sixteen others including women were wounded in firing between two rival groups
in Islamabads twin city of Rawalpindi on Saturday, said police.
The firing was taking place between two rival groups near Punjab Governor
House in Rawalpindi, only two kilometers from Islamabad, police sources told
KUNA. They said, so far, one person was been confirmed killed and more than
sixteen wounded have been rushed to nearby hospitals.
The cause of firing between the two groups was not immediately available.
Police said that it was trying to bring the situation under control.
Meanwhile, the firing was still continuing till the filing of this report.
