ISLAMABAD, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- A United Nations office has been attacked by unknown assailants in western Afghanistan, said officials.
Citing Afghan officials, local media reported here that at least one suicide bomber struck the UN compound in Guzara district of Herat province and entered the building.
The entrance to the office has been destroyed, they said, adding, several assailants were present inside the building. The security forces surrounded the building and were conducting the operation. However, there were no immediate reports of causalities.
