RAMALLAH, Oct 5 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank on Tuesday.
Israeli troops raided Bil'in village west of Ramallah and arrested four Palestinians, said a Palestinian popular committee official.
Israeli forces have targeted activists, popular resistance and launched ongoing campaigns to abort the popular uprising, the official said.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces arrested a Hamas militant at a surprise checkpoint set in the village of Hawara, near Nablus.
Israeli troops also detained a Palestinian in Jenin area after storming into the Palestinian refugee camp in Jenin.
Israeli forces also arrested two Palestinians, one wounded after being shot by military forces based in Qalqilya north of the West Bank.(end) Ng.hs KUNA 051307 Oct 10NNNN
