BAGHDAD, Sept 11 (KUNA) -- Some two Iraqi civilians were killed, with another four others injured, when a rocket landed in a family resort in Baghdad's district of Al-Karrada on the second day of Eid Al-Fitr on Saturday, a police source said.
The rocket landed in the resort that held families enjoying their Eid Al-Fitr holidays.
The incident is the first recorded during the three-day occasion, which was preceded by a tightening of security procedures in anticipation of attacks that might arise.
Interior Minister Jawad Bolani had recently assured citizens that security forces were in full control of the country, calling on them to go out and enjoy their holidays. (end) mhg.sd KUNA 112100 Sep 10NNNN
