ISLAMABAD, May 15 (KUNA) -- Nearly 15 people were killed in missiles'
strikes on a Pakistani tribal agency on Saturday, the first of its nature in
the area, officials said.
About six missiles were fired at two suspected militant compounds in the
western most part of Khyber tribal agency, intelligence sources told KUNA.
They confirmed 15 casualties and said about five others were critically
wounded.
However, it was not immediately clear whether the missiles were fired by US
predator drones or from the neighboring Afghan village. Security officials
said that the missiles were fired from Afghanistan, whereas, local tribal and
intelligence sources said that it was US missile strike. (end)
