ISLAMABAD, April 12 (KUNA) -- At least five militants were reportedly
killed in a US missile strike Monday evening in Pakistan tribal agency,
bordering Afghanistan, security sources said.
An unmanned US aircraft fired two missiles at a militant compound in Datta
Khel district near Miramshah, the main city of North Waziristan tribal agency,
the sources told KUNA. They said the strike killed at least five militants and
completely destroyed the compound.
Some unconfirmed reports, emanating from the area said that Tribal sources
said that the killed included at least three foreign militants. However, it
was not immediately clear whether any high-profile militant was also among the
