RAMALLAH, March 14 (KUNA) -- Israeli authorities will be demolishing a
mosque in the village of Burin, close to Nablus, northern West Bank.
Settlement Dossier Officer in the West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas, said in a
press release that Israeli forces officially notified the Burin local council
of its decision to demolish the village mosque.
The Salman Al-Farsi Mosque, made of three floors, will be taken down within
a week, and Israeli authorities claim that it has been built over a
no-construction zone falling under its authority based on the Oslo Agreement.
