car blast IRBIL, Feb 26 (KUNA) -- Three Iraqi army personnel were killed and 30 civilians were injured on Friday in a booby-trapped car blast in Mosul, northern Iraq.
A source in the Iraqi army in Mosul told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that a suicide car bomb exploded targeting an Iraqi army patrol near Mosul general hospital in the area of Wadi Hajar, south of Mosul, killing three of the patrol officers and wounding 30 others, including a number of civilians.
The blast alo caused damage to the hospital, shops and buildings near the blast site. (end).
