IRBIL, Feb 3 (KUNA) -- Unidentified gunmen Wednesday killed a police
officer in Kirkuk, northern Iraq, as a joint force arrested 10 people,
including a number of wanted persons in the southwest of the city, said Iraqi
police on Wednesday.
A police source told KUNA that Lt. Mohammed Okla of the Legal Department in
Kirkuk was gunned down as he left his home in southern Kirkuk.
Meanwhile, he said that a joint force launched a house-to-house search
southwest of the city, during which 10 terror suspects were arrested.(end)
