ISLAMABAD, Dec 24 (KUNA) -- Two suicide bombers carried out the Thursdays
attack in Peshawar, capital of North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) of
Pakistan, said a Pakistani minister.
Two suicide bombers blew themselves up when they were stopped by the
security personnel for checking at a checkpost outside State Life Building in
the cantonment area, said Bashir Bilour, the senior provincial minister while
talking to newsmen.
He confirmed four casualties and said that at least fifteen others were
wounded. Some local news channels put the death toll to five and said that
about twenty-five others were wounded. They said that four of the wounded were
in critical condition.
The Bomb Disposable Squad said that the bombers had used more than ten
kilograms of explosive. (pick up previous). (end)
