GAZA, June 9 (KUNA) -- A delegation of of Europe, the largest so far, arrived in Gaza Strip on Tuesday through the Egyptian borders to examine impacts of the Israeli aggression launched six months ago.
The delegation, comprising 41 parliamentarians and city mayors from 15 European countries, is headed by Vice President of the European Parliament Luisa Morgantini.
Meanwhile, UN Special Rapporteur on Disability Sheikha Hessa Al-Thani of Qatar also arrived in Gaza Strip earlier today for a four-day visit.
She told reporters that her visit will include a tour on hospitals and healthcare facilities, as well as holding meetings with health officials in the strip. (end) mt.hb KUNA 092042 Jun 09NNNN
