Syrian President al-Assad visits Austria, Slovakia by end of current month

DAMASCUS, April 15 (KUNA) -- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad visits Austria and Slovakia by the end of the current month.
The trip comes upon invitations extended by Austrian and Slovakian Presidents Heinz Fischer and Ivan Gasparovic respectively, said a Syrian presidential statement. Al-Assad is scheduled to hold talks with the two countries' leaders on bilateral relations, the situation on the regional and international arenas and issues of mutual concern, the statement noted.
