GAZA, Dec 17 (KUNA) -- A post of the Israeli Army was attacked with two missiles Wednesday morning, Salahiddeen Brigades of the Popular Resistance Committees said, claiming responsibility.
A statement by the group said a team of members attacked Zikim military post to the north of Gaza Strip and retreated safely to their base.
The attack used Nasser III local-make missiles, the statement said.
A spokesman of the Israeli Army, meanwhile, said seven Palestinian missiles targeted Israeli areas since morning, in addition to a mortar shell, all fired from Gaza onto southern Israel.
The spokesman told Radio Israel there were no damages or loss of life as a result of the attacks, indicating that the missiles hit the ground in Eshkol area near Gaza. (end) zt.wsa KUNA 171112 Dec 08NNNN
