SANA'A, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Embassy in Sana'a has provided a donation worth USD 30,000 to a society that cares for the disabled.
This donation embodies historical links between the State of Kuwait and Yemen and shows Kuwait's contribution to bolstering and cementing brotherly ties and interaction between both countries, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Yemen Salem al-Zamanan told KUNA.
The grant was given by the ambassador to the society chief Jamala al-Baidani during their meeting here on Monday.
The Kuwaiti ambassador hoped that this support would meet the needs of the Yemeni charity.
For her part, al-Baidani thanked and appreciated the humanitarian role played by the State of Kuwait, pointing to Kuwaiti support for the Yemeni development process.
She said the Kuwaiti grant would be used in the setting up of a specialized library for people with special needs. (end) az.mt KUNA 171703 Nov 08NNNN
